Beer exists more than 4 thousand years. In antique civilizations was known cool intoxicated elixir. Why is elixir? Because
beer was health-giving drink. But it is necessary to drink it correctly: the certain beer, from the certain utensils, at the certain
temperature... More shortly, culture of drinking must be present and you will have both taste, and advantage, and pleasure!
Beer has always been widely distributed in Russia. At excavation in Novgorod have found out flanks with traces of a barley
drink almost in each house. The Novgorod veche during those old times even has established requirements to quality of beer
and the price for beer. Slavic beer was bitter, intoxicated, strong. It is impossible to find beer with similar taste in XXI century.
Beer “Kalinkin” from Stepan Razina's brewery could give the flavour of taste old russian : this beer cooks on old technology
of riding fermentation unrest according to the ancient recipe.
Present Russian beer differs strongly expressed taste and it is explained by a high density. And in it the Russian brewing
traditions are similar with Czech. The density is a concentration in a primary beer mash of substances which "answer"
for taste and utility of beer. The conclusion is simple: the beer, the more brightly taste "is more dense" and it is more useful
for health.
The visit card of beer is its foam. On it is possible to determine quality of a drink. If foam is a watery, with a plenty blebs, red,
plain -looking on a view, this beer is not top-quality. Foam at good beer is compact and homogeneous, without blebs and
completely white. Excellent pouring beer in the big glass or a glass should have height of foam not less 4sm and keep it not
less than 4 minutes. Blow on foam. Is it disappeared? Poorly. "If it only settle down" – it is well. And in the good fine foam a
coin not sinks, good foam stays on walls of a glass.
